Director of Hardware Engineering

We're looking for people who want to build that future with us. The Opportunity Hardware is genuinely the heart of Veo and very broad; Optics, Video processing, signal processing, battery management, mechanics, electronics, industrial design and firmware all have to come together into a product that works reliably on pitches and in gyms around the world, at scale, in 90+ countries. We're looking for a senior engineering leader to lead our Hardware efforts end-to-end. This is as much a program management and people leadership role as a technical one. You'll set the roadmap together with the Executive team, run the timeline and budget, and build the team, while partnering closely with Product, AI, Video, Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ship new hardware on time and at quality. You'll need a good general understanding of mechanics, design, electronics, and firmware to do this job well — plus real fluency in DFM/DFA for large-scale production and assembly line setups, and a good grip on agile ways of working. How Hardware fits into Builders Builders is Veo's product-building organisation, bringing together Engineering, Product, Design, AI, Firmware, Video, Platform and Hardware. Hardware is a core engineering discipline at Veo and our cameras are the foundation of the customer experience.
