In this role, you will verify Basic Software (BSW), MCAL drivers, and Application Software Components (SWCs) against functional, safety, and diagnostic requirements on HIL test benches and virtual targets, ensuring strict adherence to ASPICE testing processes (SWE.4, SWE.5, SWE.6) and ISO 26262 ASIL D standards. Requirements Role & Verification Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Test Engineer or Verification Engineer testing automotive ECU software platforms. AUTOSAR & Automotive Protocols: Solid understanding of AUTOSAR Classic architecture (BSW, MCAL, RTE), automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN), and diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP). Testing & Diagnostic Tools: Hands-on proficiency with Vector CANoe, CAPL scripting, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio, and diagnostic testing tools. Process Standards (ASPICE & Safety): Practical experience with ASPICE verification processes (SWE.4, SWE.5, SWE.6) and ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety testing requirements. Toolchain & Defect Tracking: Experience with defect tracking, requirement traceability, and version control tools (Jira, CodeBeamer, Git, Gerrit), alongside automated build environments (Jenkins, Zuul, GitLab CI). Job responsibilities: Test Case Development & Execution: Design, write, and execute automated test scripts for AUTOSAR Classic BSW modules, MCAL drivers, and Application Software Components (SWCs). HIL & Bench Testing: Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test rigs, target ECU hardware, and virtual simulation environments using CANoe and CAPL. ASPICE Verification Adherence: Execute verification activities according to ASPICE SWE.4 (Software Unit Verification), SWE.5 (Software Integration Test), and SWE.6 (Software Qualification Test) standards with full requirement-to-test traceability. Defect Management & Log Analysis: Identify, log, and retest software defects, analyze bus communication logs (CAN/Ethernet) and diagnostic traces, and collaborate with AUTOSAR developers to drive root-cause resolution. CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous verification and rapid regression testing for every software build.
