The team provides King’s telemetry platform, enabling our games to define, capture, </span><span>validate</span><span>, transport, and manage player-event data so it can be trusted by analytics and downstream systems. </span></span><span> </span></p><p></p></div><div><p><span><span>You will help ensure continuity across backend development, operational support, and key strategic initiatives.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p></div><div><p><span><span>This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of reliable services and integrations, collaborate closely with product and engineering partners, and make sound technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.</span></span><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b>Your role within the Kingdom</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Build, </span><span>maintain</span><span>, and improve backend services and platform capabilities that support Telemetry Data.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; </span><span>participate</span><span> in operational support and improve service reliability.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Work with engineers, data teams, product partners, and game teams to clarify requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Review code, contribute to technical design, and promote strong engineering practices for quality, observability, and maintainability.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Document systems, decisions, and operational procedures to support effective handover and team continuity.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b>Skills to create thrills</b></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Significant professional experience as a backend or platform engineer, including ownership of production systems.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong software-engineering fundamentals: designing maintainable services, writing high-quality code, testing, debugging, and code review.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, and Streaming pipelines.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>A strong operational mindset, including incident investigation, monitoring, and reliability improvements.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Ability to work independently, </span><span>prioritize</span><span> effectively, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>A collaborative approach and willingness to support a team through a time-bound transition.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div></div><div><p><b><span>Tech Stack</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span> </span></p></div><div><p><span><span>Strong Java experience and familiarity with cloud-native technologies.
