Making money simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for millions of people across the Nordics.</span></p><p><span>Fully licensed and founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm.</span></p><p><span>We move fast, we build with purpose, and we're just getting started.</span></p><p><span>As our new <strong>Senior Backend Engineer</strong> you'll join one of our <strong>Money Core squads based in Aarhus</strong>, reporting to <strong>Girish Premchandran</strong>, Director of Technology - Core Banking, working to build out our domestic payments universe and power banking at Lunar.</span></p><p><span><strong>What will you do?</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Take ownership of critical banking domains, developing and maintaining the systems that keep our banking products running on a solid, reliable foundation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Integrate with external partners to extend and strengthen what our platform can do</span></p></li><li><p><span>Keep our systems highly available and resilient, while looking for new ways to make the customer experience better</span></p></li><li><p><span>Explore how AI can enhance the banking experience for our customers, from first idea to production</span></p></li><li><p><span>Share what you know and help the people around you grow, while staying open to learning from them too</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>What are we looking for in you?</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer, with a solid background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture</span></p></li><li><p><span>A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed</span></p></li><li><p><span>You communicate clearly and work well within a diverse, cross-functional team</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Golang is a big plus, though not a requirement — we'll help you get up to speed</span></p></li><li><p><span>Financial or trading experience is a bonus, not a must</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>What you get</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>4 days in the office.
